Introducing my new baby that I have been working on for awhile...in my head, on my desk, at my computer, at night while almost-sleeping, while doing laundry, refinishing furniture, giving the dog medicine (don't ask), while brushing teeth, going to baseball practice, picking weeds and grocery shopping....my actual children are very glad I'm "done" (haha) with this project.

I am very excited to introduce KITS!  For the diyers out there who yes, just want to do it theirselves - I'm planning lots and lots of exciting new products for this line of kits and more will be added to the shop daily!  Hooray!!!! 

 

Can you tell I'm exicted????

NOTE:  My hubby just texted me and this is what he said. " Yes, I can tell you're excited.  Only one thing, not being critical cuz I think u rock, but I don't think theirselves is a word." :b  Haha

I digress from my normal format for my morning series...but I had these three pretty pictures that just wanted to be shared.  Here you see my old Pastel box - a leftover Leapster box from Christmas morn snatched up by me and converted...lined with printer paper and sort-of organized into color groups.  I recently ordered a new pastel box - one that closes like a briefcase, has handy little slots (I'll use them until I acquire more colors  - then you can remove them)...and looks pretty.  Is so much more portable as I hope to attempt some plein air painting soon...and also because I do worship art at the church and need something like this.  When I was moving my pastels into their new home, (this can actually be time-consuming as you need to organize according to hue, chroma and value...AND usually clean your pastels because they've gotten all mumble-jumbled and dirtied  one another) I uncovered this messy, dusty, colorful and yet beautiful paper that came out of the old box - it was art on its own and in a completely random and unintentional way.  Don't you love it when things happen like that?

Okay, life makes sense again..here is today:

Yes, I know a day late (a dollar short??) but my internet went wonky yesterday....so here is yesterday, today!

Bow-head

Good thing I know how to make these....such a little girly-girl who will be TWO on Sunday.  I can't believe it.  She is such a funny little one.  Knows so much.  Very observant.  Hilarious.  Loves to read the "bookoos" and  is sitting in my lap right now - she said "hold you?" and of course I did.  Prances around and chases her brothers...loves Harry the dog and drawing with chalk.  Ask her her name?  She thinks its Chuga...(remember?)  Dramatic (aren't all my children this way?)  Loves shoes and every morning when I get her up she stands up in bed, looks at the floor and says "uh oh, toys in the fwo....books in the fwo"  (toys and books from previous night have been thrown out of the bed)  So sweet and kisses the boys everynight and says "I lo lu" (I love you).  Loves her belly button (Bebo) and wants to see yours too! (not so cool when you're in Wal-Mart and she insists on looking at your belly button)  Doesn't like grilled cheese sandwiches but loves to eat the "manas" (bananas) - even though she used to call them "mookies" (monkeys) which we loved.    Loves to watch Coos Coos (Blues Clues) and says hi to our fish Jolly Roger every morning.  She loves to rummage through drawers, throw everything in the floor (or "fwo") and doesn't like it when she has to come in from outside....She is a great sleeper, has the most beautiful dark eyelashes  and loves her lollipop jammies...always says "I petty" when wearing them.  Oh how I love her.  I am so blessed......

This is just the most fun ever.

This "morning" (haha) has special meaning for me - because yes!!! those are my bracelets featured in Country Living Magazine!  A happy month for me.  A special thank you to Rebecca for searching and finding little ol' me on Etsy and also encouragement to others out there - you really never know who might be looking at your shop...

I have spruced up quite a bit around the shop just for this.  My banner has a new look, I have lots of new categories (for different sizes!! hooray!) and new fabrics from which to choose...

This has been a fun couple of months and I am very blessed...even just to see my bracelets (I can't help but flip through the mag when I'm standing in line at Wal-Mart even though I own five copies of it)....I just had to share it with my checkout lady at Barnes and Noble....she was so sweet and congratulatory.
