Remember this sweet lil' thang from a few short months ago? So round and soft and pudgy and perfect? Well, I'm pleased to report she is still just so...only more babbly and expressive and wonderful!
This sweet lil' miss is a member of my Baby Steps Club and she was due for her six months photographs! How fun for me!!
One of the most fun parts of this age is their ability to be smiley and absolutely adorable and their lack of ability to scoot away from me. haha. Six months old is putty in my hands....*snicker* Not to mention just about anything is hilarious to them. Well, Miss S is very easily amused. Isn't she cute?
She made the cutest little expressions. Here I think Daddy went outside the window we were perched in from of - "why is Daddy outside?" I think her eyes are pretty amazingly blue. I love them.
We borrowed Mommy's pearls for these shots. She is a little princess indeed!
Daddy wasn't in the first set of photos we did for her and wanted to be in a few. Aren't they cute? And doesn't he look proud? Doesn't she look comfy?
I think my favorite from the set. Can't wait to get her in front of my camera again!!!

We were standing near the foosball table at Silvercliff Ranch in Colorado. I remember all of us girls standing a bit away from all of those boys. The ones that were click-clacking the little plastic "men" around and trying to one up each other. There was lots of giggling and staring and pointing. Who were these strange beings and why did they like playing foosball? We all stood around, us girls in our camp t-shirts and colored wind shorts, the boys in their Air Jordan's and Girbaud jeans. They were loud, we were giggly. Each trying to get each other's attention. High school.
That was when I first noticed Eric and Tricia noticing each other. I didn't go to their high school but we were all in the same youth group and when I heard whispers like "Eric and Tricia are going together" I knew they were perfect for each other. Both sweet and quiet. Their last names were even alphabetical.
Now they have a little family and are still very sweet. Their eyes still twinkle when they look at one another and that makes me very happy.
This session was many things. Family photos for Christmas cards, newborn photos for baby announcements. Two precious little girls? Oh!
And even though the majority of the session would be about the newest little bundle of joy. I had to get Miss L all by herself.
With the family pics over and Miss L and daddy off to McDonald's, Mama and I got to focus on sweet baby M.
I love baby lips.
We had fun playing dress up with different hair doo-dads.
And then it was time for a break to eat and cuddle. This little guy gal had been a faithful assistant throughout the morning. I had to get a pic.
Don't you just want to snuggle her?
Sweet little girl, all tucked in.
I love newborn shoots. It's such an honor to be trusted with someone else's tiny treasure. The sessions are quieter and a bit slower than others. They are calm (hopefully!) and warm. Mom and I talk and laugh. I remember my own babies and those precious first days. Days of cuddling, wonder, joy and newfound love. What could be better?

Okay, first of all, I love these people. Like love, love. I love them not only because they are super beautiful and photogenic, they happen to be so full of life and love. During this trip we laughed together, watched movies, ate ham dip (interesting), and I even slept in their comfy spare bedroom. Now before you go thinking "I need to ask Bethany over to STAY? for her to take our photos??!"...let me just say...Justin is my super cute brother-in-law and Kristi is my adorable sister-in-law. So. I get to stay at their house and eat ham dip whenever I want. Ham dip? Don't ask.
Their son J is also super cute. On our maternity photo shoot weekend getaway to la Midland, Texas (when you add a "la" it says fancier), I followed him around and took his pic as much as possible. He's a tough cookie when it comes to getting him to smile for the camera. In the Fields family, we call this a "menomile" (me no smile) look. Inside joke. Ryder the dog had to get in a few too.
I love, love this one of Kristi. I don't know where Justin, J and Ryder went? Maybe they blew away because once again we had SUPER WIND. I know I've shown this picture before here on the blog, but GAH, have to show it again.
After we got the family pics out of the way, we ran back to home base for a quick wardrobe change. Then ventured out behind their home to a vacant field with tall grasses. The sun was beginning to set which is my favorite time of day.
Kristi has such cute style. I love that she was wearing fun red heels. In a field. Yes!
I love watching them together. They genuinely like one another.
He can make her laugh. She makes him more tender.
LOVE!
Kristi and Justin have already welcomed their new baby boy into the family! I had a short but happy session with him while he was still in the hospital. He's adorable and we are all pleased as punch. Now, if they could have 10 more so I could take their photos over and over....wouldn't that be nice?
